The funniest scene was when Penny gave Sheldon a napkin that Leonard Nimoy had wiped his mouth with for Christmas.  I completely cracked up.  Very funny show.

    Experiences

With Big Bang T i remember "Thats 70 Show" with a ironic way to make comedy. Any change from 01 episode to end, thats formula is unbeatable here and no doubt most intelligent than "Two and Half Men".

Long live to Script Writers !!

    Absolutely!

I love how they, especially Sheldon, need to be taught how we think and act, and gets surprised every time.

It shows our characters, subjectivity, identity, everyday practices and experiences are actually historically, socially and politically constituted, even if we ourselves feel they are "natural" and "how it ought to be."

Sheldon comes and asks "why?" every time, and when the others try to break it down for him to understand, we realize we also have, in a way, learnt how to think and act, just like him, only on a much more (if not totally) unconscious level, much more smoothly and unquestioningly.

In these senses, it's a Foucaultian show. Only hilarious. Smile

I can see the details just fine on the DVD version.

    Is your name Sheldon?  lol

Sure, but I have no problem paying $45AUD for 3 seasons on DVD.  I don't have to muck around at all.

I too watched one episode and thought "meh -- take it or leave it" but then I watched a second episode!
