Well, today is my birthday and I am middle-aged... I used to love it when my birthday came, but now I just continue my routine. I feel younger than I am and that is just fine. Of course, I love to get gifts and showered with congratulations, well my ego likes it, but I just continue on... unlike the unfortunate people in Haiti. My heart and thoughts go out to all who experience these types of disasters, however I am particularly sad when these events happen to countries or regions that are trying to survive or rebuild or just don't have the resources to sustain a stable economy or government or quality of life. I think I will celebrate my birthday today in tribute to those approximately 50,000 who will not.
