Wow!  I never imagined I'd be part of a chess "community", but,thanks to my friend Sharon, I am discovering just how much fun it can be.  I live in Richmond, VA with my husband, Lee, and my two children, ages 11 and 13.  I stay busy teaching school at home, writing, reading, creating crossword puzzles, volunteering at church, and working out at the gym.  If you can't tell from my user name and photos, the BEACH is my favorite place to be...any time of the year.  I grew up close to Rehoboth Beach, DE, and have always been in love with the ocean.  I also love learning new things (just ask my husband), so joining chess.com is both exciting and intimidating!  I am looking forward to meeting many of you as the games continue...
