Chicken Run

I'm starting to build a "Chicken Run" for the local school this weekend. They have a hen house and 10 chickens but it doesn't have a run. So I felt sorry for the chickens and offered to build one for them. The chickens get let out every day 9.00am to 3.00pm but are locked in after this time. So they are missing out on any where up to 8 hours of day light per day Frown It's very dark in the coop. In the hot weather I worry about them. As the build develops I'll add more pictures.

What has this got to do with chess I hear you ask! .. Well nothing. But it's my blog so I guess I can put what I like Tongue out

    Say Hay Hopper, my Mom and sis also have a chicken coop at there place here in Licking Mo. it is no end of fun for my Mom in the morning as they gather up the eggs and the hens "talk" to her. Hens besides the eggs make great pets and pets these are they will never have to worry about a hachet in their lives.
