Christmas Gift from Santa

Submitted by greatexcalibur on Sat, 12/06/2008 at 5:32pm.

Hi folks!

Christmas is coming to the world and Santa Claus is coming to town.. Smile

Santa Claus, also known as Saint Nicholas, Father Christmas, Kris Kringle, or simply "Santa", is the figure who, in most of Western cultures, is described as bringing gifts on Christmas Eve, December 24[1] or on his Feast Day, December 6 (Saint Nicholas Day). Source : Wikipedia

I'm wondering, if we're still kids, what do you think we want for christmas from Santa Claus? (remember: boys will be boys, and girls? will be girls also? lol)

*you can think for the wildest one! BUT, of course, it has to be something to do with chess*

I think my wildest one is:

six-hour-five-day-a-week in 1 year trained by Garry Kasparov! Well, by Mikhail Tal if he's still alive! Cool

And what is yours? C'mon folks submit before Christmas Eve and your wish may become true! Wink

Christmas greetings!

Nic (only- not Saint Nicholas Innocent )

Hahaha... Wooden man... I like your term..

Btw, you're just about in time Ralex.. today is the last day to submit your wish..

But, since yours is the same with me, I guess Santa will give her to me first.. you have to wait until next year.. Tongue outLaughing

So, do you want to say Alexandra will only nice if we keep her out of our life and vice versa!? Undecided

Well, I think, if Santa really give her as a gift, I will take her even though there's Trojan Horse possibility.. Tongue outLaughing

But, on the other hand, I do agree with what you said.. "Santa Claus" knows what really the best for us! And yes, HE never failed!! Innocent

Your argument is not so strong as you may think,Nic! -

You know the story of Troja and wooden horse! Some gifts would be  better stay out of our life! Or they may become the beginning of a big defeat!

So you know, how I made it in my childhood! I did  not wish me something in special for Christmas, I had let it "Santa Claus" decide! And he never failed!Wink

Do you think it's a punishment rather than a gift? Undecided

Well... ok, you make me change my mind now! I will change my trainer to Alexandra Kosteniuk. Now, I'm sure it'll be a gift! 100%! Laughing

Nic, are sure that the fulfilling of that wish would be a gift?- I presume it would become more a kind of punishmentWink

My wish would be, that my chess engagement  stays at the level as it is and I can enjoy it as  in this year. The fulfilling of this "childish" wish would be enough for me.- But perhaps "Santa Claus" knows better than that!Smile

So whatever will come in future and especially in 2009, let us expect with trust in god!

Heinrich
