Computer Virus

I just had to pay CyberDefender $229.95 to have a tech fix my computer and I am more than positive i got this VIRUS from Chess.com Advertisments so be ware people and Chess.com please address this issue because I am sure it came from these ads!

    are you certain that the viruses weren't caused by a different variety of websites?

    @tickles0815: but it is possible to view a page with a browser and get the pc infected. just look for the current hole in the internet explorer 6 and 7.

    @tickles0815: but if he uses the current ie6 or ie7, then he might have problems with that. Because currently microsoft is working on a patch for a security hole in these 2 browser versions.
