first off, i'd like to apologize to anyone whose ratings i've hurt my first day here. i've tried to challenge the highest rated person i could, but nonetheless i'm still playing persons hundreds of points below me now, because of inactivity. perhaps it would be better if new players chose their own rating, and then had to back it up on the board.
while i'm onto puzzling things, at an otherwise brilliant site, i must say that the trivia leaves something to be desired. twice today the thing returns an incorrect response to a question i knew was spot on. trust me, it was a bigger deal when i was batting a hundred percent. now that i've legitimately been stumped numerous times, because some of the questions GMs wouldn't know for pete's sake, it's become less of a deal.
now that the trivia numbers are stained, i'll just have to keep that much more care on the game numbers, ha. look out.
