Double sacrifice Blitz extravaganza!

This is a Blitz game I played online today on uchess.com, brilliant fun featuring a double sacrifice that i had (semi) figured out the outcome of! I  played King's Gambit although my opponent played passive as black.

Yeah the Alekhine is an opening im not amazingly knowledgable on, hence why i tried to deviate off theory a lot on our current game! But id love to learn more about it, I know black tries to entice white to form a pawn centre with his knights and later tries to undermine this centre but ive always been too scared to hand black so much space. If you show me some good games for black with Alekhine you could spark some interest in me im sure.

Yes I love the King's gambit, especially in quick-fire games - you are guaranteed an open attacking game for both sides with loads of pressure on f7.

Playing black im also a big fan of the Two Knights defence - love playing against attempted Fried Liver attacks (particular fan of the Traxler and Ulvestad variations of the Two Knights).

Ha ha nice and chaotic, that's blitz. I played blitz for a short time on the fics-chess server. You should try fics once ( yes yes, it's free:P)

I love to see kings-gambit games. Although i'm not very familiar with all the theory and subtleties, I play it once in a while and it really occurs to me, how explosive and fun the opening is. It's a very versatile opening, as well as dangerous for both sides. I'm planning to study some theory of the gambit.

If you like aggressive chess, you should try as black once the Alekhine defence. Very tricky, but very fun as well. You can make white feel like you are playing his game, when it's actually the opposite. Try it out once:]
