ENGLISH OPENING ANYONE???

a good look at the English from my archives.  Cunning tactical play lures an opponent to overplay his position, in hopes of pushing away threating defenders, his King soon pays for this mishap

please comment and give feedback of what you think of the game, of which moves would have been better and general opinion concernig the English opening

I have played the english for many years. It is my preferred opening with white.

One difference you might like to consider is after 5. ..d5 the most common response is cxd5.
