I'm staying at my mum's at the moment and she has a radio in the bathroom, I don't know why but I turn it on in the morning though I don't like the music played on there. Anyway, come to the point, Tina.
I feel quite irritated when they talk about the weather. What is going on? "Today it's going to be warm and sunny, 30 degrees!! Hurray!!! Unfortunately Thursday is going to be rainy and colder. But don't despair, the sun is back for the weekend."
Why? Why are we influenced like that? Why do they always talk happily about sun and warmth but sadly about rain, wind and coldness? Who said the one is good, the other is bad? I like rain and I don't need 30 degrees but thanks to weather info on the radio and the like I still do have the feeling of "bad weather" when it's raining even though I love rain. It's just burned into my head over the years, thank you SO much for brainwashing me. Argh.
