Hi Everybody!

Started to play again in early 2008 when I joined Chess.com, after many years of not playing. I played chess in high school, in the early 70s. After that, didn't play again until around 20 years later, sometime in the early 90s, when I started playing again for a couple of months with a computer game program, but again, I stopped playing after those couple of months. Then, it had been about another 15 years or so, until I started playing in 2008 when a friend invited me to join Chess.com.

Hi Rdanny, I will be happy to teach you the basics! I can do that much! For more advanced training, you would need to go to somebody better than me; but for the basics, I can help you! Do you want me to challenge you to another unrated game, and then I can teach you using the board on the computer? (I challenged you before to an unrated game with the intent to work with you on the basics, but I noticed you aborted the game.) Let me know what you would like me to do. :-)
