how to play kings indian attack

Submitted by junbalbin on Fri, 09/05/2008 at 12:46am.

i am a chess fan including my 3 kids. My middle boy is using the king's indian attack as one of his  opening  if he handles white. I wish to  help him  improve it by teaching background and more information regarding the opening  which based on my readings was popularized by the legendary and chess wizard booby fisher.

Any contributed idea or information will be much welcome thank you.

another thing i wanted everyone to comment in regarding the english opening which is the pet opening of my youngest kid. he loves that in every opportunity he handles white, it is also sure that he will be realying on it. he has such success of course but i have doubt if he can hold it in facing much tougher opponents.

if any one can help in giving review regarding the english opening. on how to handle it and its advantages, strong points and its weak points, the things to anticipate and point of attack thanks.
