I Wanna Know

Sometimes I wonder...
Don't people get tired of not knowing?
Tired of saying "I don't know"?
No matter how much we watch
No matter how much we read
How much will we really know?
Some would say that a pursuit of information
is like an abomination to God.
I don't understand that logic.
I thought there was a verse in the bible
That spoke on how all of creation
points towards God's glory.
And looking for it, I can't find it.
I may very well have memory mashed that one,
but none-the-less...
Everything I have ever learned
Everything I know proven beyond a shadow of doubt
Points towards God.
They censure and excommunicate scientists and the like
For speaking of these types of things.
I feel if you
Seek truth
Approach information skeptically
And keep an open mind
You will normally be fine.
If you are one of those people
Who feel like knowledge, wisdom, etc are of no value
Because faith is more important
Or because faith is all you need
Would you still follow someone/thing
That is proven to be false???
One of my favorite quotes is
“I do not feel obliged
To believe that the same God
Who has endowed us with sense,
Reason, and intellect
Has intended us to forgo their use.”
Galileo Galilei (Italian natural Philosopher, Astronomer and Mathematician who made fundamental contributions to the development of the scientific method and to the sciences of motion, astronomy and strength of materials. 1564-1642)
