Just for fun :)

Hi guys, I want to share a game with you which I played on another chess site. The game was very funny, of course my opponent didnt played very good, but I think that you will like the final position and the way mate was delievered. Ok here is the game :

One shouldn't get psyched out when the opponent plays a very offbeat move early. Just remember, there is a reason it isn't mainstream.

Computer-wise, such an opening concedes a fraction of a pawn (I would say anywhere from .20 to .50) just to get the opponent out theory. If you simply play solid sensible moves like PavleKosic did here, you will enjoy an advantage (or with black, equality) without having to go through an opening theoretical struggle to get it.

ha, very cool, looks like a situation ive gotten myself into - smothering my queen too far into enemy territory but you had mate buried amidst the chaos, great ending :)

To Summerslrone: yes actually you are right, it was I who missed obius...but any way black is lost, because black will lose imedietly one more pawn, and that is 3 pawn adventige which is equally a piece, which is easy victory any way.

To Frenchpawn: You are right also...it whould be much better...I made my analises quickly because I was impatient to share this game with you guys...you are apsolutly right...it whould be quite nice mate... :)

In the variation you show, is there any reason why black wouldn't play 28. Kxe8? The King would be safe from check for at least one move and white would be ahead but only by pawns with opposite coloured bishops on the board. In fact, with Kc8, 29. Rd8+ Kb7  30. Nd6+... white wins the rook too! So just wondering why that is in the variation.I have probably missed something obvious.

Good game, by the way. I myself struggle a bit when opponents play random openings against me but you exploited it to perfection.

Hello ! Thanks for sharing, I did appreciate this game. Just one small thing, in the variation: 23... Nf5 24. Rxf5+ Ke7? (Qf6 resists some more moves) 25. Rf7+ ! instead of Bg5+. Can you see the mate that follows :) ?
