ANATOLY KARPOV GARRY KASPAROV CHESS SET USED LAST MATCH
check this out, It this for real??

its not really worth collecting. a board is a board. they can make more. whereas paintings are one-of-a-kind. and dont think im an art collector because of this :) i really do not understand art, especially modern art.

Yes the set appears to be legit but the MATCH was not a one of the real world Championship matches famously conducted between these two over 20 years ago. Instead it's just from a publicity stunt match held in 2002. I would guess that the HISTORIC value of this set is -0-

Si me sobrara el dinero lo compraría

I wouldn't spend more than $15.00 for ANY chess set. I understand the romance of collecting but I don't have any urge to collect chess memorabilia. It has to be seen as an investment and, unlike a painting or an antique, it will probably never appreciate in value beyond the asking price.

naw, spending is good for the economey

the fact that anythings sells on ebay seems unreal to me--if I have $15 extra (never mind $15,000) it's going toward my mortgage or into the savings account. If only there were a few more fiscally conservative people--we would avoid financial meltdowns and the like!
