King's Indian Crush

Below is a game I played on the Internet Chess Club (ICC) tonight, in the so-called 5-minute pool. My opponent was an IM (nickname QvC) so I expected a tough game, but the game was over in 17 moves, with a forced mate on move 20!

Thanks all :)

Indeed, the IM didn't play too well. The KID is just a very complicated opening where understanding of the opening is very hard. This game shows that even an IM can have problems seeing all the (tactical) motives in the opening.

And yes, I'm still aiming for at least the FM title. That shouldn't take too long anymore, since I'm 2227 FIDE now and I need 2300 to get the FM title. Also, my rating would already be high enough for the NM title in the US, but imo the NM title is just a worthless title.

not a bad game but white made a lot of wrong moves.i like the way black punished white for playing meekly without any initiative.

You should consider getting a title or something

Ana anyway, I think Kh1 was the IM's worse mistake =)

Wow! Congrats on beating an IM. (Maybe you should consider getting a title!)
