Gulhias, i'm not joking, your puzzle is messed up.

The black bishop takes queen, White Knight retakes, then Black pawn takes White Pawn. Clear material advantage.

Your third move...Queen takes pawn that is diagonal of the rook would have been better. If you wanted to move knight, move in front of king to have centre influence. Your Knight could get easier access to the rest of the board.

Do you have any games that you have played? May be if you post one or several, people can look at them at give you some pointers.

The way you handle the middle game depends on what transpired in the opening. If it is a closed game, then you may try to gain small advantages that may accumulate into a win - more strategic approach - more like squeezing juice out of a tree by hugging it! Or you could decide to open the game up.

If the game comes out of the opening wide open, then you are looking at a very tactical middle game (generally speaking).

    Tips:

    - Don't drop pieces

    - Have a plan and figure out how to implement that plan

    - Figure out your opponent's plan and try to stop it

    - Figure out whether the game will go 20 more moves or 50 more moves - and if you have any control over it - and play accordingly.

    - Go over games of stronger players and try to figure out what they are trying to accomplish in the middle game. Annotated games may be best.

    I hope that helps.
