Mora Tempo than you

Recently became a non-premium member while I'm inbetween credit cards and as a result have lost some of my archived games.  Sadly this means my blog is going to be missing a few games in my chess development.

This jumps into one of my games in the Kiwi Group Tournament with me experimenting with the smith-mora gambit. (I think thats what its called)  My opponent never really seemed to catch back up in development and made a few mistakes under the mounting pressure.  I am really enjoing smith-mora gambit games at the moment.  Would be interested to hear of any literature on this opening + famous games.

hmm... why not 11...b5, getting a pawn fork?

I don't think your opponent was playing very wisely.  Still, I'm inspired to play more gambits

Still enjoying reading your blog. I can tell you were enjoying yourself there. Yes you are right about black not developing quickly enough in the opening, black could have 3...Nf6. and instread of 5...Be7. better is 5...a6. or Bc5.
