I finished my very first online game of chess today.  Here is the result:

It was touch and go for a while.  chess180's style really threw me for a loop.  I tried to stick to the basics and it paid off in the end.  If it wasn't for the last 3 moves, assuming the white K could get to safety, all that is left is my pawn advantage, but in a tricky position with me at the helm, who knows how that would have turned out ?

Cheers to chess180 for a good game and exposing me to an opening I would never see from playing against software.  Thanks.

PS - I don't think I earned a 1442 rating with one win.  I had the default 1200 when the game started.  How does the rating system work ?  Maybe I deserve 1242 tops.
