Chess was something new for me that I started back in December 2008. So far, I've played lots of games and have met all kinds of people albeit online. I think that this carries with it an odd connotation -- but I can say with all pride that I am playing chess with great people who have enriched my life. I sent a gift to an Italian friend who is sending me a little something from Italy. I have practiced my French with various Canadians.  And I've just shared and received lots of interesting viewpoints from players on chess.com. Is there a better site? I know that that there are more sites -- but I don't know if there is a better one. .. .
