My Watery Grave

MY WATERY GRAVE

Bumb-bumb, bumb-bumb, bumb-bumb, bumb-bump. . .

I stand at the edge, at the edge of my perception.

I have had all of life's rewards,

And I have given them to thos I love.

The end is nearing, it is just in my vision.

I welcom the cooling slumber,

The peaced I'll swallow.

I step forward. . . and fly. . . SPLASH!!!

Bumb-bumb, bumb-bumb, bumb-bumb, bumb-bumb. . .

I am free as the floating feather,

Unbound like an errant heart.

All is dark and cool. . . It surrounds me. . .

I have found what I sought.

There is no fear, no regret, so sorrow. . .

Only on question left. . .

I float swiftly down and . . . . PAIN!!!

Bumb-bumb, bumb-bumb, bumb-bumb, bumb-bumb. . .

Nature has found me out,

She battles with my wishes.

I must be clam, fight off my bodies fear.

I gasp and swallow,

But I am filled with not any air.

Again a gasp and then a choke. . .

I thrash back and forth one final time. . .

I have won the battle, my body gives in. . .

All is silent and still. . .

Bumb. . .bumb. . .bumb. . .bumb. . .bumb. . . . . . . . . . . . .
