No Room To Hide

Since I can't really think of anything to post about here in China, I guess I'll discuss another tactical motif.

Today we shall examine the DOUBLE CHECK. Basically, it's when a piece discovers a check while also checking the king itself. This situation can be deadly, as the only choice one has when facing a double check is to move his king.

Let's see a straightforward example:

Now you might begin to see what combinations can arise involving a double check. Let's see if you guys can solve this puzzle. Post your solution in the comments.

How about 1.Rxg5 hxg5 2.Qh7+ Nd7 (2...Kd8 3.Qh8+ Kc7 4.Qxf6) 3.Rc4 (even better is 3.Bxd7 Qxd7 4.Rc4+ Kd8 5.Qh8+ Ke7 6.Rxe4+ Kf7 7. Qh7+ winning the queen) 3... Qd8 4. Bxd7+ Kb7 5. Be8++ (double check) 6.Rc6+ Kb5 7. a4+ Kxa4 8.Ra6## (double checkmate)?

I'm thinking: Rxg5 hxg5, Qh7+ Nd7, Rc4 Qd8, Bxd7 Kb7, Bc6+ (double check) Ka6, Ra3+ Qa4, Rxa4 Kxa4, Qa7#

That's the only thing I could find so far with a double check.
