Pawn Endgames: Part II

There are many positions in the endgame in which pawns can take. Of course, the most well known is this:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This shows a single pawn and a king vs. a king. It is the simplest of the pawn endgames and the easiest pawn puzzle to do.

Yes, but Black was supposed to mess up so the pawn could be promoted

i totally agree with you that the Puzzle is not correct.

if White play

3.Kf4? Kf6 (takes the opposition) & now White cannot win.

The puzzle is not correct, it should be a draw the way you played
