Playing against the Caro-Kann Maroczy Variation:B12

Hi, this is invader. I'm here to tell you about a fairly simple version of the Caro-Kann Defense. I learned how to play against this variation as white at my chess school. Here's the opening:

Some people think that f3 is stupid. I'm telling you, that's not it at all. 75% of people playing black in this situation play dxe4, and they eventually progress to a stale middlegame that has almost a 100% possibility to lose. It would be something like this:

However, black does not always lose, and 50% of these games end in draws or losses for white.

Yes, Qxd4 is a possible move for black to get out of the trick.

Very interesting gambit line in the Caro- Kann defence, though, I became a little worried on 5.Nc3 on the game you mentioned.

at this point, I don't know what to do. 6. Nf3 or simply take the queen with 6.Qxd4.

one move order would be like this
