Poem Competition

The wind whispers into my ear a secret never heard

Trees wave to it in greeting as it passes by

In a quick breeze, then there's silence

Throught the moutainous reigions that lies below my eyes and beyond

A tree branch falls to the earth

The thud echoes through and weaves around the mountains

Then the sound fades to a whisper

As the wind comes back with another secret to tell me

The noises of the night keep me awake

The darkness lit only by the glowing moon

Animals of the forest give their night call

The flapping of birds' wings fill my ears

The midnight sky, brightly decorated by thousands of stars

That have been in existence for thousands of years

May the Earth, the sun, the planets and galaxies revolve around each other

But for me, I shall lie on my bed and sleep

    The wind fears me
    The writings ignore me
    The words silence me
    My location protects me
    My voice secrets me
However my answer, ignores fear breaks silence and reveales what fear protects.
