Sacrfice, sacrfice, checkmate :D

Hi everyone I played this game recently and I want to remember this game because I dont really have much oportunity to sack so much material and still to deliever mate. This game is quite funny because I had only one thing on mind and that was attack, he got almost all the figures on the table but he was still mated very nicely. Of course my opponent didnt play really good defense, but still I dont think that anyone whould excpect so much sacks. I hope that you will enjoy this game. I think that with all the errors I mad this is still one of the most beutifull attacks that I have ever performe.

Thanks Streptomicin, I didnt know that move order when I played this game...after the game I thought that in future Nc3 should be played. Thanks.

I play Blackmar-Diemer Gambit a lot. Actually it is my only response now to 1.d4 d5. I don't care if it is sound, IT IS FUN. I had some really great games with it.

    One notice.

1.d4 d5 2.e4?! dxe4 3.f3? is weak and it is weak just cuz of what your opp played. 3...e5

    Best line is 1.d4 d5 2.e4 dxe4 3.Nc3!? delaying f3 for one move.

Very nice game, my style is very different from yours, I often play very safely avoiding any gambits. Good job, this game is a good one for the learning section called „Loving the game” :)

wel sacs are not wrong, its just changes the board, thats the only thing they do.
And if you can take advantage out of it its the right thing to do. I

And once you have material advantage you only expand it by equal sacs.
Defnitly not a wrong thing to do.

I sometimes think just lets play a few sacs because then we getting more close to end game :)

I personally don't get much pleasure out of sacrificing when I know there exists a response by my oponent that will void any advantage my sacrifice makes. If my opponent does not play such a move it means I am not playing at my level. If my opponent plays the right move it means I am playing weak. Either way its not satisfactory for me.

i'm not 100% sure, but it looks like you are lost after that queen move on your move 14. i know, you were really excited by it because you saw that hxg5 (sac'ing your knight) leads to mate in 1. But of course he won't fall for that.

    Instead, i was looking at

    14...e4!

for him which appears to ACTUALLY win a piece. either a) the B on d3 if you don't do anything about it, or b) the Knight on g5 if your B moves off the diagonal, or c) the OTHER bishop on d2 if you take the pawn on e4. Plus your Knight is pinned to your queen after 14...e4.

i'm not sure if i am missing anything. obviously your pieces are aggressively placed and black should watch out, but taking one of them for free might actually help him.

thanks for sharing. hope that helps in some way.

The blunders listed PLUS you're rated like 300 above your opponent...

Good game, you wanted to attack and followed your gut obviously catching your opponent off guard.  I'll often do that with lesser ranked players, just to see what surprises develop.  Awesome mate.  :)

I sorry but I cannot say a game is good when black could have won your rook starting with 4... Qh4.  This trap happens alot in the Falkbeer Counter Gambit when white takes the wrong way.  Surely you too players should have know that.

On move 20, if black plays Bd4 (attacking rook and protecting the diagonal), how would you proceed?

I think that would've saved blacks... Good game nevertheless, though.

If on move fourteen, he had played ...e4 I don't think you would have been able to pull out the win.

It doesn't matter if you blunder, it matters if you checkmate.

The person that makes the next to last mistake always loses.

The attitude is great, indeed, but I'm afraid I can't praise the game because the sacs were just too unsound.

Sacs are most beautiful when they make defense a living hell for the opponent - or when it takes a computer to defend the position.

    Congratz on the win though.

Sure the sacs are pretty, but the game just has so many blunders.

4...Qh4+ looks good for black.  :)  If 5. g3 then 5...Qxe4+ forks the king and rook.
