Simultaneous game against a master.

Here is a game i played (as black) in a simul display against International Master Herman van Riemsdijk earlier this year.

I lost of course, but it does show that when masters take on multiple opponents (10 in this case) there is always a chance of coming out on top.

In this game i had my chance but messed it up!

    Yeah, there is always just one move where it all goes very bad. I thought the experience was great though. It just shows how good masters really are. He won all ten games

    Very neat!  I got a chance once to play a grandmaster who for some odd reason came from Ukraine to Nebraska, US.  I didn't record the game because there was a whole line of us young ones lined up to play, but man, it seems like there's always that one move where suddenly all is lost and they just keep moving in.

     

    Still a good experience
