I've been online here for a while, but have only just started playing over the weekend. Although I have never taken the opportunity to play much chess, I do enjoy it. Just recently I became interested again. I'm hoping to improve my game from the information on the site, as well as getting to play against real-live people. Prior to this I've been playing a little against an older chess app, Extreme Chess (circa 1996, I think), that seems to either play too stupidly on lower settings (very non-human like) or far too good on any higher settings.
