The Best Piece

Whats the best piece?  The horse because it can move over pieces and create forks. The queen beacause it can move anywhere?  The rook,bishop or pawn?  Or maybe even the king? what do you think?

    The beauty of chess is each piece's unique relationship to each other. You can't Ever mate with one piece (unless they've blocked themselves in with their own pieces).

    Bishops and knights are like peas and carrots if you know how to make them dance.

    knight is my favorite.  queen is the most dynamic.  king is the best. (you can lose anything but the king and win)
