The Game of the Century

Bobby Fischer is a man of wonder, a million words and child prodegy as some might say.

"Fischer's a phenomenon and an epoch in chess history, and an intellectual giant I would rank next to Newton and Einstein." said Kirsan Ilyumzhinov, president of the World Chess Federation."

"He great prince in the chess world" added Kasparov.

There was no doubt about that as Fischer was just 13(yrs old)  when he played the game later to be called Game of The Century by Hans Kmoch with an amazing claimed victory by Fischer himself. The game was played between Donald Byrne and 13-year old Bobby Fischer in the Rosenwald Memorial Tournament , New York City on October 17,1956.

Donald Byrne (1930-1976) was one of the leading American chess masters at the time of this game.  He became the world's youngest grandmaster at age 15 in 1958. He won the world championship in 1972, and is considered one of the greatest chess players in history

The following game, a stunning masterpiece of combination play performed by a boy of 13 against a formidable opponent, matches the finest on record in the history of chess prodigies.
