THE GREATEST SACRIFICE AND GLORY - A PRAYER

the value of a sacrifice is usually determined by the value of the object being sacrificed.

in chess, the greatest sacrifice may be the giving-up of the Queen.

and in life, what more can be a great sacrifice than THE KING OF KINGS, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, giving-up His existence in this world that we may have life.

Following is a prayer which flowed-out from within me, when a dear brother in CHRIST asked for a prayer:

FATHER GOD, we thank You for giving us the LORD JESUS CHRIST … who give-up His physical existence in this world … as a willing sacrifice to restore us (men) into an intimate relationship with You, FATHER GOD … to open-up our whole being to the awareness of your love, mercy, and grace … in the LORD JESUS CHRIST, our SAVIOUR … through the HOLY SPIRIT You allowed us to receive.

Help us FATHER GOD, look beyond what the world is showing us … help us see beyond what the religious systems are displaying … see into the glorious being You desire man to be – in Your image and likeness, FATHER GOD … as displayed by the LORD JESUS CHRIST … and revealed through the HOLY SPIRIT in us.

Let the light of the HOLY SPIRIT shine in us … and free us from the deception of the world and the religious systems … downgrading the Greatest Sacrifice and Glory with just an annual commemoration … and display of human degradation … rather than as a daily, moment by moment celebration of Your Gift of Glory … restoring us, the sons of man, into the sons of GOD.

Forgive us FATHER GOD for forgetting Your greatest gift of Forgiveness and Reconciliation through the LORD JESUS CHRIST, and Restoration through the HOLY SPIRIT … in our moment by moment existence.

Give us the grace to humble down ourself, a poor sinner, to You … accept Your Gift of Salvation - the LORD JESUS CHRIST as our LORD and SAVIOUR … and be restored into Your image and likeness through the HOLY SPIRIT.

Help us submit to Your workings in us … through submission to Your will … and the reign of the KING OF KINGS in the kingdom within us … through the HOLY SPIRIT that dwells in us … that Your light will shine in us … and shine forth from us … to those around us.

All these FATHER GOD, we ask of You, IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. Amen.

Jesus may be considered by others as a prophet ... by others, as a great philosopher ... by others, a great leader.

we are those who believe what the LORD JESUS CHRIST, THE KING OF KINGS, THE LORD OF LORDS, OUR SAVIOUR ... has declared of Himself, son of man and SON OF GOD ... and has been revealed to us by OUR FATHER GOD ... through the HOLY SPIRIT.

may GOD bless us with more revelations of HIM ... and the reason of our human existence.

Amen. That's a great prayer brother dalf. It is definitely a Spirit-filled Christian prayer. Jesus is the ultimate example of sacrifice. No other sacrifice that any of us on earth can do can come close to what He did for us.

There is only one god and he is Allah! Jesus is just one of the prophets. He is not the son of Allah. I hope Allah forgives all christians because they are believing wrong things such as "Jesus - the Son of Allah" or "Holy Spirit". No one is equal to Allah!
