THE POWER OF THE PIECES! part 1

The power of the pieces in chess ranges from a low power to a high power, but each piece has its own ability, like an army they all unite together to go for the target. Even though some pieces are taken to the other side they all still keep there special ability. In this part we will disscuss about the horse, rook and bishop. THE KNIGHT uses short rage attacks that threaten the enemy together they conquer the battle feild with the help of THE BISHOP which uses long ranged attacks to threaten the oppenent and is less at risk then the horses. Then there is THE ROOK which can go side ways front and back ways and can do the famous switch with the king which many people use. Those are there powers and in the next part we will disscuss about the pawn and the queen. If you like this topic make a comment here and join me to experieance the POWER OF THE PIECES.chess_board.jpg

Marvin......I thought that everyone here would know what you have written already...except for newcomers...I suppose newcomers to chess may find this site too difficult because there are so many great players here.

indeed the power of the power of the pieces is a good recollection. i also think individuals determin which piece is powerful. i know people who make pawns their most powerful pieces and wouldn't trade more than one pawn.
