Todays thoughts

I like to sit here, in no-mans land,

Safe from the wolves.

Let the swine - go - hungry today.

Hide in the one place they won't think to look,

out in the open,

for - everyone to see.

Flat ground.

Legal eagles, frightened rabbit,

looming vultures.

Almost hope there's a snare on that path over there-

merciful ending.

Atlas is stooping under the weight of the world he's defending.

- Goodbye fear, can't dwell here -

-can you read my lips?

Feel the balance shift, as you drop the ball,

there's still hope for us all,

for another day will come, with another morning sun-

while there's a race still left to run.

There they go again,

the soundtrack to my life,

the backdrop that I blot,

everything I am not.

Gosh..! Bravo... honestly.

A very cunning beginning ("I like to sit here, in no-mans land") to middle ("Atlas is stooping under the weight of the world he's defending.") to end ("everything I am not.")

First class.

I wondered about "frightened rabbit, looming vultures." and tried a few things like fearful hare or cicling vultures... I'm still not sure about frightened rabbit.

"Can you read my lips?" is especially cool.

Potential titles?:

Backdrop

or

Merciful

?

Anyways, I love it.
