First blog - Long

Submitted by xbigboy on Mon, 04/07/2008 at 6:12pm.

Hello reader.

This is my first blog post, so if it isn't likesforests-level it's because I haven't done this before.

I have accumulated 1,000 points, which have rumors to give prizes. One of the most famous is a free T-shirt. Erik has confirmed that to be no longer in effect, if it ever was in effect. This teaches a lesson, in both chess and life.

In life, some things that seem to give a reward simply is never will, and those things must not stop your life. I will stay on chess.com even though I can't be a walking billboard for it.

In a game of chess, a piece that seems to a lot for your side may have no effect, as in this example:

That white pawn is causing trouble! Can black draw with one white blunder? I believe so!

I agree, 3. f8 is possible, as the knight is pinned to the king by the rook!

Good entry.  If I were playing white I would have taken the bishop on move 5.  Waiting for the next blog entry.
