Second Blog - Moving

Submitted by xbigboy on Tue, 04/08/2008 at 5:13pm.

Today I left my house, and I will never go back. I've been fighting against my family on selling our house. I eventually lost, and we sold. FrownCry We are staying in town, but we are changing houses. But that doesn't change the fact that the only house I've ever known is gone, and there is no way back. If you are questioning how I'm typing this, it is because our house is basically empty, so I'm staying at a friend's house.

I have megaultrasuperextreme feelings against what is happening. It's like a chess game against someone MUCH better. You constantly build up defenses, until they burn them to the ground, and force a mate. You have the ability to put it off, but it will happen. It's only a matter of time ...

Luke,

As you go through life you will move a few times, sometimes by your choice, sometimes because of cicumstances beyond your control.  What's important is the things you will always have with you, your memories!  Sometimes God closes doors only so that new doors can be opened.  Trust in him.

The plant I work at is closing in 2 weeks and I am out of a job May 15.  I know how you feel, but there is also opportunity.  Embrace change.  It can have its good points as well as things you miss.
