Puzzles, Puzzles, Puzzles

There’s a site that covers some prolific chess authors (IMHO) such as:

(a)  Reinfelds, F. – 1001 Brilliant Way to Checkmate & 1001 Winning Chess Sacrifices

(b)  Polgar, L. – Chess 5334 Problems

(c)  Chernev, I. – Winning Chess Traps

(d)  Alburt, L. – Chess Training Pocket Bk: 300 Most Important Positions & Ideas

They can be found at: http://mysite.verizon.net/webmasterfrank/patterns/books.htm

There’s also a list of other PGN & PDF books (some of which are at the download page of Chess.com).

The Java script is truly horrid & it will freeze ever so often. Then, there're days nothing will show. If you reach that stage, you’ll probably have to reboot or come back later.

PLS NOTE: Free sites such as the above-mentioned are renowned for bugs, hence do ensure you’ve Anti-Spyware.

Other than that – it’s still a cool place to checkout.

Hope this is of some help to some folks.

I am the author of the site you reviewed and I want to thank you for the positive comments. As for the JavaScripts they were simply cut and pasted  from Bravenet and other free JS sites. If anyone reading this thinks they can improve on these scripts please send me your improved copies. Also this website contains many other things of interest, free chess lessons, free chess videos and more. And I am seeking your participation. If you have material that you think is suitable do send them to me and if I like the material I will include it in the website.
