Teaching my Friends the Basics of Chess

Chess  I have a bunch of people that know I'm into chess that don't know ANYTHING about the game. (Sound familiar?)

Rather than explain over and over, I made a video that I hope will give them a start, and amuse along the way.

I will make follow up videos with super basic strategy etc, but I'm interested in the chess.com crowd feedback on whether I was confusing, missed something obvious, etc...

Here's the Link: http://youtu.be/1b-LkC7Dy4I

Please leave comments right on YouTube, and of course Liking and Subscribing would be cool if feel inclined! ;)

Thank you!!

Somebody suggested low volume music in the background to cover the dead air hiss... I tend to think that would be annoying and probably a better mic is a better way to go.

The better mic part is a certainty, does anybody else think music would be distracting?

After you have shown the starting position and naming the pieces, or movement of the pieces and for total beginners it would be helpful if the the board didn't have the pieces, for clarity.
