Tips and Tricks to the Puff-Puff Gambit

As many of you may know, the Puff-Puff Gambit is as so:

This is an ancient opening, deriving from the Carokann:Mad Hatter's Attack (1.e4 c6 2.Ke2)
Well, recently at my local chess club, I found that many aspiring Bongcloudistas didn't understand the main concept of this opening. The reason why this opening was created was that the Bongcloud was becoming too well-known, so many defenses were made. The Puff-Puff Gambit forces black to choose what avenue to take:capture the pawn, ignore it with a "developing" knight move, or start a Bongcloud of his own. Meanwhile, white has the strategic options of 4.Ke2 and 5.Ke1, or if black takes the pawn, white might vie for 5.Ke3, as seen in this game. I witnessed a Bongcloud marvel from BM Haight.
In conclusion, many people don't know what to do when confronted by the Puff-Puff. There are just too many avenues to take as black! Study your Puff-Puff, as you will find that nearly all lines are losing for black.
